Camel trek and 2 nights in Merzouga camp to explore Erg Chebbi dunes
Enjoy Camel ride to desert dunes for around 90 minutes. Experience Watching desert sunset in Merzouga Sahara desert. We departure from Merzouga village around 5 pm and we return back next morning at 8 am. A visit to the best dunes of Erg Chebbi, as the largest dunes in North Africa we experience the Sahara desert of Merzouga. There are a number of options for adventure camel ride - starting from a 1 hour trek to multi- day trips.
PROGRAM FOR CAMEL TRIP IN SAHARA AND 2 NIGHTS IN ERG CHEBBI CAMP
This camel trip for 2 nights in Merzouga camp begins in the afternoon. We depart from the hotel or riad in Merzouga. We enjoy a camel journey for about 1.5 hours.We reach nomad tents and you will explore the Sahara dunes. You may try sandboarding, and also take amazing desert pictures. Experience the sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes. At night, we enjoy traditional dinner at campfire. We enjoy a drumming performance from the Berber locals.
On the next morning we will ride the camels to visit the Berbers living on the edges of the desert. After lunch of traditional Berber Pizza. We walk to the tops of the high dunes, enjoying the superb view sun. Overnight in desert camp with dinner. On the another morning we will ride our camels back to Merzouga after the sunrise, where breakfast and a shower waits for us in the riad/hotel.
