DAY 1 : CASABLANCA – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FES (OPTIONAL CHEFCHAOUEN VISIT - ADD1 MORE DAY):
Morocco Amazing Tours offering private Casablanca tour to explore best of Sahara desert. Today we pick up you and we’ll explore Casablanca’s most interesting places including great Hassan ll Mosque. After lunch we head to Fes via Volubilis. We will explore Meknes, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, then our journey continues to Volubilis, to visit the Roman ruins. We continue to Fes and we stay in local hotel.
DAY 2 : EXPLORING CITY OF FES:
Today we continue our private 7 days tour from Casablanca to desert to discover Fes, the imperial city founded by Idriss II. We will visit the Mosque of the Andalusians, the famous tanneries, and also the Medina. We will enjoy lunch and then we continue to visit the Medersas. We stay overnight in a local hotel/riad.
Today we will leave Fes travelling towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, then Midelt and Erfoud along the Ziz valley. Upon arriving at the dunes of Merzouga Erg Chebbi, your accommodations will be at the Kasbah.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL EXCURSION
Most of the day is spent relaxing at the hotel or exploring the desert city, which is small but interesting. In the afternoon, we head off in a 4 wheel drive vehicle through the barren land to the majestic Sarah sand dunes. Around sunset time, we take a camel ride for 2 hours to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents (Dinner is included). This might be optional if you prefer to return to the hotel to sleep.
We wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise in desert. After breakfast our 1 week Casablanca to Sahara tour continues and we’ll leave for Rissani, Erfoud and Tinghir. We continue to Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley. Overnight in Hotel/Riad.
DAY 6 : DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH:
After breakfast we’ll set off through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs. We’ll stop at Kalaat M’gouna, “The Rose City”, to purchase the rosewater. We continue to Skoura and the birds valley; visiting the Kasbah Ameridil. We continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Here you may choose to visit the movie studios. Our private Morocco trip will continue through the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving at your hotel in Marrakech.
DAY 7 : MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR WITH LOCAL GUIDE
Today on the last day of our private 7 days Morocco tour continues and we will enjoy amazing guided tour of Marrakech. This tour includes visiting the old medina, the famous Koutubia Mosque, and the nearby souk. We also explore Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle Gardens.This will be the end of our private desert Morocco tour and we wish you happy return back home Thank you for travelling in Morocco in Casablanca private tour with Morocco Amazing Tours.
