DAY 1 : FES - MIDELT - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT HOTEL
Morocco Amazing Tours offer Adventure Fes to Merzouga tours to explore best of Erg Chebbi desert. Our 5 days private Morocco desert tour starts in the morning and we will begin your ascent through the Middle Atlas mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, cliffs, jagged and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. In the middle of the road, stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. Then we continue to Erfoud and Rissani. In the evening we reach Merzouga where we stay overnight in desert hotel.
DAY 2 : MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL RIDE TO SAHARA DESERT CAMP
Our private 5 days Authentic Morocco tour from Fes continues today and most of the day is spent relaxing at the hotel or explore the desert city which is small but interesting. In the afternoon, we head off in about 4 wheel drive through the barren land to the majestic sand dunes sahara. Around the time of sunset is time for a camel ride for 2 hours to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents (Dinner is included). This might be optional if you prefer to return to the hotel to sleep.
We wake up early in the morning to watch sunrise in desert. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Erfoud and Tinghir. We continue to Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley. Overnight in Hotel/Riad.
DAY 4 : DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH:
After breakfast our private 5 days tour from Fes to Merzouga and Marrakech continues and we’ll set off through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs. We’ll stop at Kalaat M’gouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater. We continue to Skoura and the birds valley; visiting the Kasbah Ameridil. We continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Here you may choose to visit the movie studios. Our private Morocco trip will continue through the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving at your hotel in Marrakech.
DAY 5 : MARRAKECH GUIDED CITY TOUR
This day we will have a guided tour of city. It is the pearl of the south of Morocco and we discover the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with a visit to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the attractions of the center of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, woven Berber carpets and many art objects of Morocco.After tour finishes we drop you off at your desired place (hotel / square / bus / train station / airport).This will be the end of our private desert Morocco tour and we wish you happy return back home.
