DAY 1 : CASABLANCA TO RABAT AND CHEFCHAOUEN
Morocco Amazing Tours offering private Casablanca tour to explore best of Sahara desert. Your private driver will pick you up in Casablanca and after short city visit of Casablanca citywe t5ransfer you to Rabat where we visit main sights, then we travel to Chefchaouen in Rif mountains, overnight in local hotel.
DAY 2 : CHEFCHAOUEN TRAVEL TO FES
Today we continue our private 12 Days Sahara Tour from Casablanca and after free program in Chefchaouen we visit Meknes former Imperial city, then Fes where we stay overnight in local riad..
DAY 3 : FES WALKING TOUR AND EXPLORING MAIN CITY ATTRACTIONS
Today we will explore the medina of Fes, which has one of the largest walls in the world in cities. The narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, the famous tanneries, and potters studios are just a few places you will explore. After lunch we will complete the tour and return to your hotel for the evening.
DAY 4 : VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - FES
Today we head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and we will spend the morning exploring the 2000 years old ruins and get a picture of life during the Roman Empire. Lunch can be taken in Moulay Idris, one of the holiest cities in Morocco. After lunch, your driver will take you on a drive through tour of the imperial city of Meknes. You can choose to hire a guide for exploring the city. We will return to Fes in the evening.
DAY 5 : FES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT HOTEL
After an early breakfast you will begin your ascent through the Middle Atlas mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged cliffs, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. In the middle of the road, stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. Then we continue to Erfoud and Rissani. In the evening we reach Merzouga where we stay overnight in a desert hotel.
DAY 6 : MERZOUGA DESERT EXCRUSION AND CAMEL TREKKING TOUR
Most of the day is spent relaxing at the hotel or exploring the desert city, which is small but interesting. In the afternoon, we head off in a 4 wheel drive vehicle through the barren land to the majestic Sahara sand dunes. Around sunset time, we take a camel ride for 2 hours to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents (Dinner is included). This might be optional if you prefer to return to the hotel to sleep.
DAY 7 : MERZOUGA - RISSANI - ERFOUD - TODRA GORGES - DADES GORGES
After breakfast, you will return by camel ride to Merzouga village and then we drive to Rissani, Erfoud to reach the Atlas Mountains in the path of the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, there will be a walk in the towering Todra Gorges. The valleys of the picturesque river make a nice trip to the south-east of Morocco. Then we continue to Dades Gorges where we stay overnight in a local hotel.
DAY 8 : DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH
Today we explore Dades Gorges and then we head to Ouarzazate. Here we may visit local movie studios, and a kasbah. We continue to Ait Benhaddou to explore the local kasbah. We stay here overnight in a local riad/hotel.
DAY 9 : AIT BENHADDOU TO ATLAS MOUNTAINS AND MARRAKECH
After breakfast we make our departure to Marrakech. Once in Marrakech you will check in your hotel, then make your way to Djemaa el-Fna, the central square of the medina. The famous Djemaa el-Fna, is one of the attractions of the center of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and succulent barbecue pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of a nearby bar offers a spectacular aerial view of the bustling square. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.
DAY 10 : MARRAKECH GUIDED CITY TOUR
Today we will have a guided tour of city. It is the pearl of the south of Morocco and we discover the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with a visit to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the attractions of the center of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, woven Berber carpets and many art objects of Morocco.
DAY 11 : MARRAKECH - ESSAOUIRA 1 DAY EXCURSION
Today you will enjoy day trip to Essaouira on Atlantic coast.
DAY 12 : MARRAKECH TRANSFER TO CASABLANCA
